We have clients who need dependable caregivers—and we’re looking for experienced people who are ready to work.

FirstLight Home Care of Dothan has served families throughout the Wiregrass for over 14 years. We’re currently hiring caregivers who show up consistently, communicate professionally, and take pride in providing hands-on care.

Available Schedules:
- Daytime availability between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or
- Nighttime availability between 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Shifts range from 4–12 hours based on client needs

BEING AVAILABLE BETWEEN 7-7 DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL WORK 7-7!

Note:
- Every other weekend availability is required
- Open availability provides the best opportunity for consistent client assignments
- Schedules are built around the needs of our clients. Hours may change as client needs and assignments change.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention
- Provide medication reminders
- Complete light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide transportation when needed

Pay & Benefits:
- $12.00–$14.00 per hour
- Loyalty bonuses at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Comfortable working in homes with pets
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
