Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician III
Location: Charlotte
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 4:00 AM–12:00 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; 40 hours per week
Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour to start, with growth opportunity based on demonstrated traction and performance.
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/General

TDP Bakery brings fresh, indulgent bakery products to customers through high-quality production and reliable operations. We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician III to help keep our Charlotte facility running safely and efficiently.
Role Summary: The Maintenance Technician III will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and related machinery in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment. This role supports preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment uptime, safety, GMP compliance, and daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on bakery production equipment, facility systems, and related machinery.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment issues to reduce downtime.Respond quickly to breakdowns and complete work orders through the maintenance management system.Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment documentation.Follow all safety, LOTO, PPE, GMP, and food safety requirements.Operate or obtain certification to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other powered industrial equipment as needed.Partner with production, sanitation, and safety teams to support maintenance priorities and production goals.Skills and Qualifications:
Prefer an Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production systems.Knowledge of industrial controls, sensors, motors, conveyors, production equipment, and facility support systems.Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, documentation, and work order systems.Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and safety mindset.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and reach overhead as needed.Ability to use tools and equipment safely and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.Work Environment:
Manufacturing bakery environment with exposure to machinery, noise, temperature variation, and moving equipment.Regular standing, walking, and time on the production floor are required.This job description reflects the current role requirements; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or working conditions.
