Inside Sales /Counter/Warehouse Representative in Alhambra, California at VISION ELECTRIC WHOLESALE INC

The Counter Sales Warehouse representative, will begin to develop relationships by waiting on customers who walk into the location. The Job duty will need to handle all sales functions in a professional manner for counter customers by providing efficient/detailed service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction. In counter sales, it is important to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and be sensitive to their needs. Your knowledge of Electrical and Lighting supplies will allow you to determine material required by customer and suggest alternative or additional items related to the order and building relationships for future orders.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to:

• Answer phone calls with customers looking for material and/or order updates.
• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Process customer phone requests and provide assistance with company information such as directions, location and transfer phones to other sales reps.
• Pick and pack customer orders quickly and accurately to ensure low volume of errors. Follow VEW policy and procedures for releasing items.
• Ongoing education about new products and their application. Willingness to educate customers on the features and benefits of new products and services via VEW provided training and education.
• Maintain counter area and displays to ensure a professional and organized appearance, including trash, product, clothing etc.
• Become fluent with manufacturer catalogs and literature so as to quickly find answers to customer requests.
• Assist warehouse personnel with general tasks including restocking, clean up and other various job duties.
• Attend offsite trainings and conferences when necessary. Travel could be required either in state or out of state. Travel may include car, train or airplane.
• Make follow up phone calls, emails, or other means of communication to existing or net new clients regarding existing or new business opportunities.
• Learn and use company CRM and ERP systems to ensure compliance with customer information and learn to write quotes for new and existing clients. This will help build your knowledge to become an inside sales rep.

Warehouse duties Include

• Pull and Receive orders from Inside/Outside Sales reps
• Cut wire for contractors
• Receive and ship items to vendors and customers
• Take inventory of items and ensure we are stocked correctly.
• Drive Forklift to assist driver with incoming product.
• Other warehouse duties as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
