Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping a facility safe, functional, and welcoming. In this role, you’ll be an important part of the team responsible for maintaining our building, equipment, and grounds, helping create a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to help prevent costly repairs and downtime
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintaining facility grounds, including minor landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep as needed
- Assisting with inspections and testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and life safety equipment
- Performing minor carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building maintenance
- Helping with room turnovers and preparing rooms for new admissions
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards, structural concerns, or equipment issues
- Supporting emergency preparedness and responding to facility emergencies when needed
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Completing accurate work order documentation and preventative maintenance logs
- Following OSHA, life safety, infection control, PPE, and other established safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with staff across the facility to support a safe and well-maintained environment

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care environment
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
