Job Description
Travel the U.S. | Capture Dance Competitions | Professional Equipment Provided
Season: February - June

If you've filmed sports, live events, weddings, concerts, theatre, or other fast-paced productions, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
Compensation and Benefits- Starting at $25/hour
- Paid travel days

- Professional camera and livestream production equipment provided
- Guaranteed minimum daily pay
- Overtime after 40 hours/week
- Private hotel room
- No video editing or post-production
- Paid training
- Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
- Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
- Capture high-quality performances
- Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
- Upload and manage event media
Every new Camera Operator receives:
- Virtual training during January
- A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
- Hands-on instruction before working independently
You'll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.
Requirements- Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas)
- Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season
- Comfortable driving 5-6 hours when required
- Comfortable with long production days and travel
- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Sports camera operation
- Live event production

- Livestreaming (OBS)
- Multi-camera switching
- Jib operation
