Navigator - Women's Imaging in Gastonia, North Carolina at CaroMont Health

Job Summary: Provides patient centered navigation services and care coordination across all areas of Women's Imaging Breast services as well as provide contact and care services for surgeons, primary care, oncology referrals etc. Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of Imaging navigation services. Reports data and implements quality improvement initiatives. Acts as a liaison among health care providers/staff /patients and patient families.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree and certification in Mammography and at least 2 years experience in imaging or imaging navigation or BSN with current RN license to practice in the state of NC with at least 2 years RN patient navigation experience (will accept at least 5-7 years of experience in mammography in lieu of Bachelor degree). Master's degree is preferred. Must have strong organization skills with initiative, creativity, public speaking skills. Requires ability to work in a self-directed environment with the ability to network, organize and coordinate a patient care team. Current BLS certification required.
