Job Description:

Short Summary

The Senior Analyst, HR Technology is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of the organization's HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday. This role serves as a key partner to HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders to ensure HR systems effectively support business operations, Crewmember experience, data integrity, reporting, and process efficiency.

About the Role:

As the Senior Analyst, HR Technology, you'll serve as a trusted Workday subject matter expert and help shape how HR technology supports JSX's growing business. You'll translate business needs into practical system solutions, build meaningful dashboards and analytics, lead enhancements and testing, and resolve complex system and data issues. You'll also provide day-to-day direction to an HRIS Associate Analyst while partnering with leaders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver a more joyful, simple Crewmember experience.

A Day in the Life:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary administrator for Workday and other HR technology platforms.

  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, automation, and the user experience.

  • Support Workday releases, upgrades, testing activities, and the implementation of new functionality.

  • Design, develop, and maintain HR metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and visual analytics in Workday and other reporting tools.

  • Create and automate recurring reports and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, recruiting, talent management, compensation, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.

  • Gather business requirements, evaluate solutions, and configure or coordinate system and business-process changes.

  • Lead and support HR technology projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process redesign initiatives.

  • Partner with HR leadership, Payroll, IT, business stakeholders, external vendors, and internal technical teams to deliver successful solutions.

  • Protect data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for HR system issues involving applications, business processes, reporting, security, configuration, or data.

  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, business-process guides, training materials, and user resources.

  • Manage and provide day-to-day direction to at least one HRIS Associate Analyst.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 4 or more years of progressive experience supporting HRIS or HR technology platforms.

  • 3 5 years of hands-on Workday administration experience.

  • Experience with Workday reporting, business processes, security, and configuration.

  • Experience managing system enhancements, testing, and change-management activities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the aviation or transportation industry.

  • Workday certification or advanced Workday training.

  • Experience supporting multiple Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Time Tracking.

  • Experience with HR system integrations and data interfaces.

  • Experience using Workday Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, or other Workday analytics capabilities.

  • Knowledge of HR technology trends and leading practices.

  • Experience managing or leading an HRIS team.

Basic Requirements:

  • Intermittent physical activity, including bending and reaching, and the ability to work for prolonged periods while seated.

  • Ability to occasionally lift 5 to 20 pounds.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
