Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Windom, Minnesota at Windom Area Health

Windom Area Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to support our nursing units 16 hours per week (.6 FTE). The position serves as a multipurpose support to the nursing staff; assisting with patient care, registering patients, cleaning instruments, stocking, answering phones and greeting visitors.

CNA, Medical Assistant or medical secretary background preferred, but not required. BLS certification is required.

• Must have good interpersonal skills and have knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Requires ability to do detailed work and have strong customer service skills.

This position will work a rotating schedule during the week, 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend and holiday.
