Oracle Fusion Tech Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Fusion Tech Architect based in India.

This is a senior technical architecture role focused on delivering complex Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM solutions.
You will provide hands-on expertise across implementations, integrations, conversions, reporting, security, and technical support.
The role combines deep technical delivery with a strong understanding of business processes and client requirements.
You will work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
The position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to solve complex Oracle Cloud challenges in a dynamic consulting environment.
Success requires strong technical judgment, leadership, communication, and the ability to independently drive critical deliverables to completion.

Accountabilities
  • Provide technical expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM implementations, upgrades, integrations, conversions, reporting, and production support.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements, map business processes, design appropriate solutions, configure applications, and oversee delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Support Oracle Cloud ERP modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Requisitions, and Purchasing.
  • Support Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities including conversions, integrations, reporting, Fast Formulas, Workforce Management, HCM Data Models, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Compensation.
  • Design and develop technical solutions using PL/SQL, advanced SQL, OTBI, BI, FRS, Smart View, and related Oracle technologies.
  • Develop and manage data conversion mechanisms using HDL, FBDI, Oracle REST, Oracle SOAP, and, where applicable, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Design and support inbound and outbound interfaces, integrations, extracts, approval workflows, security implementations, and SSO solutions.
  • Work with Oracle Cloud data models, Work Structures, Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs), security architecture, and other core platform components.
  • Lead or support requirements gathering, solution mapping, configuration, testing, user training, cutover activities, and post-go-live support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Prepare high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, delivery materials, and other project artifacts while maintaining strong quality standards.
  • Identify, assess, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, recommending practical solutions that improve efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on assigned projects while collaborating with functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, take ownership of deliverables, and independently drive work through to completion.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies, with substantial expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM conversions, integrations, reporting, and technical solutions.
  • Strong technical experience with Oracle Cloud ERP modules, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Requisitions, and Purchasing, together with sufficient functional knowledge to understand and perform business transactions.
  • Strong technical experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, including HCM Data Models, Workforce Management, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Compensation, Fast Formulas, conversions, integrations, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated programming experience with PL/SQL, advanced SQL, PeopleTools, and Oracle reporting technologies such as OTBI.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Cloud security, approvals, SSO, data conversion, extracts, interfaces, and integration mechanisms.
  • Experience with HDL, FBDI, Oracle REST and SOAP services; familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is desirable.
  • Strong experience developing reports and analytics using BI, OTBI, FRS, and Smart View.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM implementations, including requirements, mapping, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to understand and communicate Oracle Cloud ERP data models and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and recommend scalable improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership, ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently while contributing positively to a broader team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities while consistently meeting project commitments and deadlines.
