Gerente de Relacionamento Especialista - Benefcios

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Gerente de Relacionamento Especialista - Benefícios based in Brazil.

This is a client-facing role focused on strengthening long-term relationships and delivering high-quality employee benefits solutions.
You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring service excellence, satisfaction, and continued business development.
The position combines relationship management, commercial strategy, negotiation, and operational coordination.
You will identify opportunities to optimize products and services while increasing value for both clients and the business.
The role also involves close collaboration with benefits providers and internal teams to ensure effective delivery.
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills will be essential in managing complex client situations.
Based in São Paulo, the position follows a hybrid working model with meaningful interaction across clients and stakeholders.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients through regular meetings, visits, and proactive relationship management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
  • Identify opportunities to expand products and services within the client portfolio, presenting recommendations that optimize resources, improve outcomes, and generate additional business.
  • Build relationships with benefits providers and evaluate existing and new products and services to ensure they meet client needs and quality expectations.
  • Lead and support negotiations with providers regarding renewals and adjustments, balancing client requirements, service quality, and commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate the operational activities associated with client servicing, including system updates, reporting, documentation, and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Develop new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of the client portfolio.
  • Plan and oversee delivery of all services included in client proposals, ensuring commitments and agreed-upon scope are fulfilled.
  • Handle critical or sensitive client situations with professionalism, developing practical solutions and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Conduct meetings and calls with clients and internal stakeholders in English when required.
  • Participate in product and service training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and strengthen the quality of client advisory.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with confidence conducting professional meetings and calls.
  • Previous experience in client relationship management, preferably within employee benefits, insurance, consulting, or a related environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to manage commercial discussions effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and client deliverables.
  • Practical, objective, and solution-oriented approach to complex business situations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when responding to changing client needs and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage challenging or sensitive situations with professionalism.
