Analista de Placement Sr.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Placement Sr. based in Brazil.

This is a senior-level insurance placement role supporting the preparation, analysis, and execution of submissions to insurers and insurance markets.
You will contribute to evaluating risk information, comparing quotations, reviewing coverage, and developing solutions aligned with client needs.
The role combines technical insurance knowledge with strong organization, analytical thinking, and relationship management.
You will work closely with Placement colleagues, underwriters, insurers, and other stakeholders throughout the placement process.
Your attention to detail will be essential to ensuring accurate documentation, effective negotiations, and smooth implementation of agreed terms.
Based in São Paulo, the position follows a hybrid working model that combines remote flexibility with in-person collaboration.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with Placement colleagues to prepare market submissions and documentation, including insurance specifications, claims records, and executive summaries.
  • Support the collection and analysis of quotations from insurers and relevant markets, comparing proposals and contributing to the development of suitable client solutions.
  • Review existing insurance policies and risk programs, contributing to proposals, recommendations, and technical placement strategies.
  • Process, organize, and monitor documentation throughout the Placement lifecycle to ensure efficient and accurate execution.
  • Request and track changes with underwriters, ensuring negotiated terms and conditions are correctly implemented.
  • Review coverage specifications before market submissions to ensure information is complete, accurate, and aligned with placement requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with insurers and underwriters, supporting negotiations and other Placement-related activities.
  • Apply and continuously develop technical knowledge of the insurance market to support team decisions and placement strategies.
  • Coordinate multiple activities and deadlines while maintaining quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external market stakeholders to ensure smooth communication throughout the placement process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
  • Previous professional experience in insurance, reinsurance, insurance placement, or a closely related field.
  • Solid knowledge of insurance risks, policies, coverage structures, and market practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly for evaluating and comparing insurance quotations and market alternatives.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage documentation accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests, deadlines, and placement activities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with insurers, underwriters, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also demonstrating autonomy and ownership of assigned activities.
  • Intermediate to advanced English is considered an asset, particularly for communication with international stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to learning and developing technical expertise within the insurance market.
