Outside Sales Representative in Vidor, Texas at Industrial Service Solutions, LLC

Position Summary:

Industrial Service Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced, high-performing Sales Representative – Compressors to join our growing rotating equipment division. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in industrial rotating equipment and a proven ability to develop customer relationships, identify opportunities, and drive business from initial contact through close.

The ideal candidate understands industrial plant operations and can effectively engage with maintenance teams, reliability engineers, procurement professionals, and plant leadership to provide solutions that meet their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow new and existing business within the oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, and industrial markets.
• Sell air compressors, parts, service, rentals, and turnkey solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, procurement teams, and plant leadership.
• Identify opportunities for service agreements, recurring revenue, and long-term customer contracts.
• Conduct customer site visits, equipment evaluations, and needs assessments.
• Develop solution-based proposals that address customer operational requirements.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes and proposals while actively driving opportunities to close.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed established sales goals.
• Partner with service, parts, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Represent ISS professionally and build the company's reputation as a trusted industrial service partner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in industrial sales, preferably with rotating equipment, compressors, or related industrial systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
  • Centrifugal, rotary screw, and reciprocating air compressors
  • Compressed air systems
  • Air dryers and filtration systems
  • Related rotating equipment and industrial applications
• Ability to understand customer operational needs and recommend solutions rather than simply sell products.
• Established relationships within the Texas Gulf Coast industrial market are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with service, parts, and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned market and conduct customer site visits.
