Atlas Coffee Club is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Sanitation Associate to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and fulfillment facility.
This role is responsible for end-of-day cleaning and organization across our coffee, tea, K-Cup, Nespresso, and fulfillment production areas. The Production Sanitation Associate will work closely with the Production and Operations teams to ensure equipment, workspaces, restrooms, common areas, and production materials are properly cleaned and prepared for the following workday.
This is a hands-on position that requires someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, works independently, follows established cleaning procedures, and can consistently complete a daily cleaning schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesRegular Fulfillment- Wipe down and clean Weigh Rite machines and Autobaggers.
- Wipe down and clean fulfillment grinders.
- Clean the Box Maker and surrounding work area.
- Sweep fulfillment and production floors.
- Remove trash and recycling from fulfillment areas.
- Wipe down production tables and work surfaces.
- Restock boxes and necessary materials at each fulfillment lane.
- Collect and wash buckets, bag shapers, bag bins, funnels, and other approved production equipment using the three-compartment sink.
- Maintain clean and organized production and fulfillment workspaces.
- Sweep floors and maintain clean production areas.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Consolidate and restock shipping and production materials.
- Use approved compressed-air equipment to remove coffee and product debris from designated equipment and areas.
- Perform scheduled deep cleaning of K-Cup and Nespresso production equipment, including fillers, box equipment, sealers, and conveyors.
- Assist with coffee barrel management, cleaning, and organization.
- Ensure production areas are clean and prepared for the next shift or production day.
- Wipe down tables and production surfaces.
- Wash dishes, containers, and approved production equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Sweep production floors.
- Restock the room with necessary supplies and materials.
- Consolidate boxes and maintain organized storage areas.
- Support cleaning around Weigh Rite equipment, including dust removal and wiping of designated surfaces.
- Clean and maintain men's and women's restrooms.
- Clean the kitchen and break areas, including dishes, counters, sinks, trash, and recycling.
- Empty facility trash and recycling as assigned.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
- Help maintain clean and orderly storage, production, and shared spaces throughout the facility.
- Follow all Atlas Coffee Club safety, sanitation, and food-production cleaning procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals, compressed air, and cleaning equipment only as trained and authorized.
- Follow proper procedures when cleaning around production machinery and equipment.
- Immediately report damaged equipment, safety hazards, spills, leaks, or sanitation concerns to management.
- Properly store cleaning chemicals and supplies away from coffee, tea, packaging, and other production materials.
- Follow all required personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
- Previous commercial, warehouse, manufacturing, food-production, or janitorial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Dependable and able to consistently complete assigned cleaning responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Comfortable working independently for portions of the shift.
- Ability to follow written cleaning procedures and checklists.
- Comfortable working around production machinery and equipment.
- Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to communicate cleaning, sanitation, or facility concerns to management.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies, boxes, trash, production containers, and other materials as required.
- Ability to work in an active warehouse and food-production environment.
- Ability to safely work around coffee dust and other normal conditions associated with coffee production.
- $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.
