Pitt EDGE, the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Excellence in Digital Education, is dedicated to advancing the University’s strategic vision for online, hybrid, and continuing education. Established within the Office of the Provost, Pitt EDGE supports the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of digital learning programs across Pitt’s 16 schools, providing centralized services such as market analysis, academic planning, recruitment, instructional design, technology integration, and quality assurance. The center collaborates closely with academic units to expand access to high-quality education for diverse learner populations and to ensure cohesive, effective online and hybrid learning experiences. The EDGE Enrollment Management team is a dynamic, data-driven unit dedicated to growing Pitt's portfolio of workforce-aligned online, master's and professional programs. We integrate creative storytelling, digital strategy and enrollment best practices to connect prospective students with transformative educational opportunities that advance their careers.

Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.

Job Summary

Develops and implements data-driven, targeted marketing materials and plans to publicize and promote University activities, services, products, and events. Creates and administers effective marketing campaigns; manages social media and email campaigns. Establishes new funding and revenue sources.

Essential Functions

• Build and launch campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic
• 
  Write and traffic ad copy and creative; maintain keywords and negative lists
• 
  Set up audience targeting, conversion tracking, UTMs, and tags
• 
  Monitor and optimize bids, budgets, and targeting within approved thresholds
• 
  Run A/B tests and pause or reallocate underperformers
• 
  Manage media buys, flighting, and budget pacing to enrollment cycles
• 
  Build performance reports and dashboards (spend, CTR, CPL, CPA, conversions)
• 
  Support attribution and funnel reporting with clean UTM/source data
• 
  Coordinate assets and insertion orders with vendors and partners
• 
  Partner with analytics, CRM, web, and creative teams; document changes and SOPs
