Summary:

Build and troubleshoot custom industrial control panels for automated packaging equipment used by Fortune 500 manufacturers. This position includes panel layout, wiring, testing, and commissioning complex control systems.

Job Functions:

· Assembly and wiring of industrial control panels

· Dimensionally layout back panels and externally mounted devices

· Operate computerized terminal, wire labeling, and engraving equipment

· Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics

· Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards

· Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

· Powering up panels (hot wiring)

· Debugging I/O with live power

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and diagrams

· Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits

· Manual dexterity to adequately work with wires, use hand tools, and hand small components

· Ability to competently operate hand and power tools

· Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds

· At least two (2) years’ experience preferred

· High school diploma or equivalent
