Job Description
Why join Upscale, Inc.
Upscale, Inc., is building the high-performance infrastructure powering the next generation of artificial intelligence. Backed by over $500M in funding and rapid global adoption, we are scaling systems designed for the world’s most demanding AI workloads.
We focus on first-principles engineering across silicon, systems, and networking—where performance, scale, and execution are critical. Our team is talent-dense and high-performing. We value ownership, technical rigor, and speed, and we offer the opportunity to work on foundational problems with immediate, real-world impact.
If you’re looking to do high-impact work, move fast, and help define the infrastructure behind the future of AI—Upscale is where you can produce meaningful work at the frontier—and operate at a high standard.
Upscale AI is seeking a highly hands-on, execution-focused Director of Corporate Marketing to build our brand and establish Upscale AI as a leader in AI infrastructure and networking.
This is a high-impact role for a marketing leader who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. You will own how Upscale AI tells its story to customers, partners, the media, analysts, and the broader technology ecosystem—translating complex technical innovation into clear, differentiated, and compelling narratives.
You will work closely with our executive, product, sales, and engineering teams to drive product launches, corporate positioning, thought leadership, digital content, PR, events, and sales enablement. We’re looking for someone who moves quickly, takes ownership from idea through delivery, and consistently produces high-quality work that drives measurable business impact.
- Own the Upscale AI brand and corporate narrative, developing clear positioning and messaging that communicates our differentiation and leadership in AI infrastructure and networking.
- Lead product and company launches end to end, including messaging, content, launch plans, press and analyst engagement, digital campaigns, and sales enablement.
- Create compelling technical and business content, including website copy, blogs, white papers, solution briefs, presentations, executive communications, customer stories, and thought-leadership materials.
- Drive thought leadership by identifying important industry conversations and turning executive and technical expertise into differentiated points of view.
- Lead PR and communications, working directly and with external partners to build relationships with relevant media, analysts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Own digital marketing and web content, ensuring our digital presence clearly communicates who we are, what we do, and why it matters.
- Develop integrated brand and awareness campaigns that increase visibility and engagement among customers, partners, and the broader AI infrastructure ecosystem.
- Lead marketing for industry events, including messaging, speaking opportunities, content, booth presence, launches, and supporting campaigns.
- Partner closely with Sales to develop presentations, solution briefs, competitive materials, and other collateral that helps move customer conversations forward.
- Collaborate deeply with Product and Engineering to understand complex technologies and translate them into accessible, differentiated stories for technical and business audiences.
- Measure marketing effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on engagement, pipeline influence, brand visibility, and business outcomes.
- Build the corporate marketing function as we scale, establishing the processes, programs, agencies, and resources needed to support the company’s growth.
- 8–10+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, ideally within AI infrastructure, data centers, networking, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, enterprise infrastructure, or related markets.
- Strong understanding of the AI and data-center technology landscape and the ability to quickly develop credibility with highly technical teams and audiences.
- Exceptional storytelling, messaging, and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to make sophisticated technical concepts clear, relevant, and compelling.
- Proven experience taking product launches and integrated marketing initiatives from strategy through hands-on execution.
- Experience across corporate communications, content, digital marketing, PR, thought leadership, events, and sales enablement.
- Ability to work effectively with executives and technical leaders and turn their expertise into compelling external narratives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
- A high degree of ownership, urgency, attention to detail, and bias toward action.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building programs from the ground up rather than relying on established processes or large teams.
- A track record of producing high-quality work that contributes to measurable business results.
Where you fall within that range depends on your experience, skills, and impact—we benchmark against internal levels to keep things fair and consistent.
