Quality Assurance Administrator in Goderich, Ontario at Jokey North America Inc

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join the Jokey North America team!

The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.

This position schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.

Position Responsibilities:

• Act as a JCAN contact for customer technical inquiries and supplier reviews;

• Respond to customer requests for documentation (i.e. Letter of Guarantee, Certificates of Conformance);

• Communicate with other Jokey plants regarding product quality control of one another’s products;

• Provide support work for certification programs (i.e. social compliance, CTPAT, ISO 9001, food safety);

• Assist with auditing plant processes;

• Monitoring and reporting resin silo levels and maintaining the silo measurement system;

• Verification, receiving, and release of railcars under direction of the Purchasing Manager;

• Ensure safe work practices at all times;

• 6S inspections of Production and verification of Non-Production Cleaning Records

• Filing of Production Records, Hand Sanitizer maintenance;

• Supervise Jokey special projects as assigned by management;

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Strong organization skills

• Proven communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Excellent computer skills including MS Office

• Excellent customer service skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems

• Knowledge of ISO 22000 – Food Safety Management Systems
