Job Description
The Engineering Administrator (Entry – Level) supports the Sales and Engineering teams by coordinating customer inquiries, supporting the quotation process, maintaining technical documentation, and assisting with project administration. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual looking to develop a career in manufacturing, engineering support, or technical sales. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Sales and Engineering teams as directed by Management.
- Prepare and maintain engineering databases and sales documentation.
- Coordinate communication between customers, sales representatives, engineering, production, and customer service teams.
- Assist with processing customer requests, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP, CRM, and document management systems.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and customer deliverables with management approval.
- Support order entry, contract reviews, and engineering change notifications.
- Generate reports related to sales activities, project status, and customer requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentations, technical submittals, and product information with direction of management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and provide administrative support for ongoing projects.
- Other duties as assigned with Management approval and direction
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, engineering support, manufacturing, or sales support role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to learn ERP and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
