Description

Position Purpose

The Project Coordinator provides support within the Security Solutions business unit, working closely with Sales, PMs, equipment requests and purchases, as well as invoices and files. This position will provide data entry and tracking functions within various systems and serve as a liaison between the business unit and accounting.

Pay range: $22.22 - $30.00 per hr. plus potential profit share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks assigned as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Purchase equipment for security projects.
  • Maintain project parts files with purchase orders, inventory transfers, invoices, bill of material, and transmittal information for projects.
  • Establish and maintain cordial and functional relationships with factories and suppliers.
  • Answer incoming service calls from customers and dispatch technicians as needed.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures.
  • Monthly progress billings for construction projects.
  • Collect stock transfers from inventory and input to accounting job cost system.
  • Provide general administrative support for SS division.
  • Maintain project parts files with purchase orders, inventory transfers, invoices, bill of material, and transmittal information for Project Managers projects.
  • Support job tax schedules and certified payroll rates with accounting, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2 years business school or 5 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literacy with specific experience using MS Office Products - Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including experience with invoicing, purchase orders, and financial tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements
  • This position may involve standing for extended periods, sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
