Job Description
Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a well-rounded individual to satisfy a requirement for an Acquisition Specialist position. In this position the individual will be part of a team supporting DARPA solicitation activities. The individual will ensure compliance, perform database administration and support all office funding opportunities. It is of paramount importance to be detail-oriented, proactive and customer focused.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support and coordination of all of DARPA office solicitation activities.
- Draft for review letters, documents, and program data reports reviewing for accuracy and quality control.
- Support the formation, proofing, editing, and preparation of all office Solicitations, Scientific Review Memoranda (SRMs), Special Notices (SNs), Requests for Information (RFIs), announcements, briefings and other solicitation-related documents.
- Assist in tracking and entering proposal submission information and awards data into the solicitation databases, file management, managing assignments and access to proposals, COIs (Conflict of Interests), and Non-Disclosure forms.
- Work closely with the DARPA Contracts Management Office (CMO) and the Web Portal support team to answer frequently asked questions and ensure that updates and announcements are provided to the external science and technological communities.
- Prepare and send routine correspondence and respond in a timely manner via email, mail, and telephone to program inquiries in support of all office programs.
- Work with PMs and their SETAs to maintain and track solicitation-related calendar of events, monitor the DARPA and office solicitations web pages, and revise and update BAA tool support materials.
- Additional administrative and financial duties as required to support office.
Required Skills:
- Master's Degree
- 7 years' experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with varied acquisition methodologies and strategies AND/OR Experience within DoD with demonstrated knowledge of current contracting/procurement requirements, as required within the FAR; experience with procurement contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and Other Transactions AND/OR Experience in developing and implementing policy for Research & Development (R&D) and Services contracting.
- Provides support for technical, business & administrative aspects of the program to include process improvement.
- Acts as principal lead on analytical, consulting, or assessment processes in support of technical, business & administrative goals of a program.
- Often performs analysis requiring advanced training and degrees.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) beneficial.
