Job Description

Coding Instructor (Independent Contractor)

Immigrant Girls Leading Our Way Program

Contract Term: July 6, 2026 to August 28, 2026

$25.00 per hour, 37.5 hours per week


SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA) is committed to empowering youth through innovative and engaging learning opportunities. We are dedicated to empowering students with basic coding skills through the iGLOW program. The coding camp will offer engaging and interactive coding classes that inspire creativity and problem-solving.


We are seeking passionate and experienced independent contractors for the role of Coding Instructors to collaborate with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding and a passion for teaching. You will be responsible for instructing students in game development, maze creation, and general coding principles.
