At VersAbility, you'll join a mission-driven organization where your work changes lives and contributes to stronger, more inclusive communities.

Role Overview

VersAbility Resources is seeking a motivated and results-driven Supervisor – Digital Imaging to lead daily operations within our X-Ray Digitization Department. This hands-on leadership role oversees employees, workflow, production, quality, scheduling, and operational documentation while ensuring customer requirements and established quality standards are consistently achieved.
You don't have to come from the document imaging industry to bring valuable experience to this team. If you've successfully supervised employees in manufacturing, production, records management, document imaging, or another operational environment, this opportunity allows you to apply your leadership skills while expanding your experience in quality management and digital imaging operations.

The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who knows how to coach employees, manage competing priorities, monitor performance, solve operational problems, and keep a team focused on quality and results. You'll also help to create an inclusive, safe, and productive workplace that supports employees of all abilities.

What You'll Do
• Supervise daily document scanning, indexing, quality assurance, and shipment activities.
• Plan and assign work to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and deadlines.
• Monitor productivity, quality, workflow, and operational metrics and address performance concerns.
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees while completing performance evaluations and supporting accountability.
• Coordinate employee scheduling, staffing, cross-training, and overtime to maintain operational coverage.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures, customer requirements, chain-of-custody standards, and departmental processes.
• Conduct quality reviews and support corrective and preventive action activities.
• Perform final sampling reviews of scanned images and reproduced radiographic film images for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain production reports, inventory records, employee documentation, and other operational records.
• Partner with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to resolve concerns and improve service delivery.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.
• Promote workplace safety, employee engagement, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of supervisory or leadership experience in document imaging, records management, manufacturing, production, or a related operational environment.
• Experience supervising, coaching, training, and developing employees in a production-driven environment preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or another quality management system preferred.
• Experience with document imaging, scanning, quality assurance, records management, or digitization operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan workflow, prioritize assignments, and manage changing operational demands.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn applicable document imaging, reporting, and records management systems.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a document imaging and production environment located within a warehouse/manufacturing or similar environment. The Supervisor regularly moves between office, production, document imaging, warehouse, and storage areas to oversee employees and monitor workflow.
The environment may include moderate to loud noise and active forklifts, material-handling equipment, machinery, and other industrial equipment. Employees must remain aware of their surroundings and follow designated walkways, PPE requirements, posted signage, and established workplace safety procedures.

The position requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking; occasional bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling; and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. The role also requires sufficient visual attention and concentration to review scanned images, radiographic film images, documentation, and completed work for accuracy and quality. Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable law.

Schedule
This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why Join Us?
• Lead and develop a team in a mission-driven organization that supports employees of all abilities.
• Apply your existing production or operations leadership experience while learning a specialized industry.
• Build experience with document imaging, quality assurance, ISO 9001 processes, and continuous improvement.
• Have a direct impact on employee development, operational performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with operations leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and results.
