Cashier in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Meriwether Godsey, Inc.

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Cashier; someone who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality while performing basic food service responsibilities at an independent school in Philadelphia, PA, which educates students Pre-K through 12.

Must be available to work:

• Between 6a-4p, Monday-Friday
• Weekends as needed for special events
• Pay range: $18-$19 per hour

What the Cashier will do:

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer
• Keep the checkout and additional food service areas clean and orderly
• Assist in basic cooking duties such as making sandwiches and preparing simple dishes
• Operate a coffee/espresso machine
• Assist in transporting, setting up, garnishing, maintaining, and breaking down food and supplies at assigned stations
  

What the Cashier will need:

• Must be able to pass an FBI background check
• 1-3 years retail/ customer service experience
• Barista Experience
• POS experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and good organizational skills
• Flexibility: ability to switch between locations and job duties
• High School Diploma or equivalent
