We are looking to hire a VIP Security Escort to join our team in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
The Security Escort provides operational, administrative, travel coordination, and mission support services to meet customer requirements. Working closely with the Project Coordinators, this position requires personnel to be highly proficient in stakeholder communication, documentation management, and operational support activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role requires individuals who are professionally polished, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing sensitive information. VIP Security Escorts will effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and coordinate on-site operations for domestic and international travel.
The VIP Security Escort will be responsible for the following:
- Support Project Coordinators with operational coordination, administrative management, and mission support activities.
- Coordinate executive-level and VIP travel, including flight itineraries, travel logistics, movement schedules, arrival/departure activities, and ground transportation to ensure secure and seamless operations.
- Maintain and safeguard sensitive travel information, operational schedules, and movement timelines while ensuring discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate with internal personnel, government stakeholders, airport authorities, transportation providers, security personnel, and external partners to support domestic and international travel, mission execution, and operational continuity.
- Support travel security coordination, including collaboration with port-of-entry security partners and other organizations as required.
- Maintain situational awareness of operational timelines, travel schedules, and mission activities to support effective planning and execution.
- Maintain operational records, reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), memorandums, and other mission-related documentation in accordance with records management requirements.
- Provide administrative support, including badging, credentialing, training compliance, scheduling, meeting coordination, and contract reporting.
- Deliver professional customer service and maintain effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and mission partners.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational procedures, security protocols, and customer requirements.
- Support high-tempo operations by adapting to shifting priorities and dynamic mission requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by customer and project leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience escorting executive-level personnel through secure entry and exit points.
- Experience coordinating complex operational activities involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and records management skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and safeguard sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers, stakeholders, and senior-level officials.
- Proven ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse cultural, military, law enforcement, diplomatic, and government backgrounds.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain discretion, and perform effectively in high-visibility, mission-sensitive environments.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support mission requirements.
Required Security Clearance:
- Secret
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, complexity, and mission requirements.
- Experience coordinating executive travel, operational travel, or mission support activities.
- Experience coordinating travel and security requirements with federal agencies, airport authorities, and other partners.
- Familiarity with U.S. airport operations and VIP movement coordination.
- Ability to brief leadership and large audiences effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to tight deadlines and rapidly changing operational requirements.
