ERP Implementation Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an ERP Implementation Specialist based in the United States.

This is a hands-on, client-facing implementation role focused on building and optimizing modern financial systems for high-growth companies. You will lead ERP deployments end-to-end, helping startups establish scalable accounting infrastructure that supports fast-changing business models. The role blends technical ERP configuration, accounting expertise, and process design in a highly dynamic consulting environment. You will work directly with founders, CFOs, and finance teams to translate business needs into robust system architectures. A key part of your impact will be ensuring ERP platforms accurately support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will also play a critical role in improving workflows, integrating modern finance tools, and supporting month-end close processes. Success in this role means delivering reliable, scalable ERP environments that enable clients to grow confidently and efficiently.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead full-cycle ERP implementations for clients, including system setup, chart of accounts design, workflow configuration, module setup, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assess existing ERP environments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and misconfigurations, and implement improvements aligned with business and reporting needs.
  • Support accounting operations within ERP systems, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and month-end close processes.
  • Manage data migration from legacy systems and spreadsheets into modern ERP platforms while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party tools such as billing, payroll, CRM, and expense management systems.
  • Deliver training sessions, create documentation, and support users to ensure successful adoption and system understanding.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial workflows, improving scalability and operational efficiency for clients.
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, administration, or consulting, with proven exposure to full-cycle ERP deployments.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Rillet, or similar systems, including core modules (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, revenue recognition, etc.).
  • Familiarity with integration tools, workflow automation, and SaaS finance ecosystems (e.g., Stripe, Brex, Ramp, Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliation and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex system and accounting concepts into clear business language.
  • ERP certification (e.g., NetSuite or equivalent) is preferred; CMA designation is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary within market range ($75,000–$95,000 base) plus benefits
  • Flexible PTO policy to support work-life balance
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible scheduling
  • Home office stipend to support productivity and setup needs
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on learning and shared expertise
  • Opportunity to work with high-growth startups across SaaS, fintech, biotech, and other innovative sectors.
