This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Affiliate Compliance Specialist based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of compliance, risk management, and affiliate operations within a fast-scaling digital ecosystem. You will serve as a key decision-maker for affiliate-related compliance escalations, ensuring that partner activity aligns with internal policies, legal requirements, and brand integrity standards. The position requires strong investigative skills, sound judgment, and the ability to analyze complex, sometimes ambiguous situations involving high-risk decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Affiliate Operations, and Support to evaluate cases and determine appropriate enforcement actions. A core part of the role involves proactively identifying risk patterns, auditing traffic sources, and documenting findings in a clear and defensible manner. This is a high-responsibility role where your decisions directly impact revenue protection, partner trust, and regulatory exposure.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the affiliate compliance escalation process, serving as the primary decision-maker for complex risk and policy-related cases.
  • Investigate potential affiliate violations by analyzing traffic sources, promotional methods, and behavioral patterns.
  • Conduct detailed audits to validate affiliate activity, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Act as the final escalation point for affiliate-related issues raised by Support, Product, and other internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Affiliate, and Investor Relations teams to assess risk and determine outcomes.
  • Recommend and enforce corrective actions, including warnings, restrictions, suspensions, or program removal where necessary.
  • Document investigations, findings, and decisions in a clear, structured, and defensible manner for internal and external review.
  • Develop and improve scalable workflows for affiliate risk detection, escalation, and enforcement processes.
  • Monitor affiliate activity to proactively identify emerging risk trends and prevent policy violations.
  • Support ongoing compliance and legal-related initiatives tied to affiliate operations and channel integrity.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, compliance, trust & safety, risk analysis, operations, or legal-adjacent roles.
  • Strong investigative mindset with experience analyzing complex, data-driven or policy-sensitive issues.
  • Hands-on experience auditing digital activity such as affiliate traffic, performance marketing, platforms, or marketplace ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data, documentation, and stakeholder input into clear, defensible conclusions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, or Affiliate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document sensitive findings and risk-based recommendations.
  • Comfort owning high-stakes decisions and seeing issues through to resolution, even when outcomes are complex or sensitive.
  • Working knowledge of affiliate marketing systems, traffic sources, and common fraud or compliance risk vectors.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $84,000 – $120,000
  • High-impact compliance role with direct influence on affiliate program integrity and risk management
  • Remote-first work environment with cross-functional global collaboration
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of legal, risk, and digital growth operations
  • Exposure to complex affiliate ecosystems and large-scale digital traffic analysis
  • Strong ownership culture with autonomy in decision-making and enforcement actions
  • Career growth opportunities in compliance, trust & safety, or risk leadership tracks
  • Collaborative environment working closely with Legal, Finance, and Affiliate leadership teams
