Senior Manager, Solutions

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of complex supply chain transformation, where strategic thinking meets hands-on solution design. You will lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative, data-driven logistics solutions that help win new business and shape large-scale operational implementations. The position requires deep expertise in supply chain strategy, warehouse design, and automation technologies, combined with strong commercial awareness to align solutions with client needs. You will act as a key advisor throughout the RFP and solutioning lifecycle, translating customer challenges into scalable, high-impact operating models. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, involving close partnership with engineering, analytics, and implementation teams. You will also play a leadership role in mentoring solution design talent while continuously improving methodologies, tools, and design standards. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on revenue generation and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of advanced supply chain solutions that support business growth, client acquisition, and operational execution across complex logistics environments.

  • Lead and manage the full RFP and solution development lifecycle, from discovery through design and proposal delivery
  • Develop compelling win strategies that address client challenges, cost targets, and operational requirements
  • Design innovative, scalable supply chain and warehouse solutions incorporating automation and advanced technologies
  • Collaborate closely with analytics and engineering teams to translate client requirements into optimized solution designs
  • Conduct technical and operational evaluations of warehouse automation systems, including robotics, ASRS, AMRs, AGVs, and related technologies
  • Review and validate solution models, cost structures, and operational assumptions to ensure accuracy and feasibility
  • Identify risks, scope changes, and optimization opportunities throughout the solution design process
  • Support implementation teams by ensuring alignment between designed solutions and execution in the field
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to refine solution strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Solutions Design Engineers to strengthen team capability and performance
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong supply chain expertise, solution design experience, and leadership capabilities within complex logistics or industrial environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations with progressive career growth
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution networks, and supply chain optimization principles
  • Experience designing or evaluating warehouse automation solutions (e.g., ASRS, conveyors, AMRs, AGVs, robotics, WCS/WES systems)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional solutioning efforts and manage complex RFP processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders and clients
  • Experience mentoring or managing teams of engineers or technical professionals
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and modeling software
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% as needed
