This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the financial performance and operational scalability of a rapidly growing healthcare revenue cycle organization. You will own end-to-end RCM strategy, ensuring efficient and accurate reimbursement processes across eligibility, authorizations, claims, payments, and accounts receivable functions. The role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational expertise, with a focus on building systems that scale in a high-growth, multi-state, multi-payer environment. You will collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product, and Data teams to improve automation, strengthen reporting, and optimize revenue integrity. You will also lead and develop a high-performing RCM team while continuously improving KPIs such as denial rates, collections, and A/R performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end revenue cycle strategy, including eligibility, authorizations, claims processing, denial management, payment posting, and accounts receivable operations.
  • Drive performance against key financial and operational KPIs such as net collection rate, denial rate, clean claim rate, cash collections, and days in A/R.
  • Lead initiatives to improve revenue capture, reduce reimbursement leakage, and enhance overall financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to automate workflows, improve system integrations, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations and Credentialing teams to ensure payer readiness, accurate enrollment, and seamless operational alignment.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into revenue cycle performance and trends.
  • Lead root-cause analysis efforts and implement sustainable corrective actions to resolve revenue cycle inefficiencies.
  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing RCM team focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning by forecasting operational needs and supporting scalable growth initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams within RCM or related healthcare operations.
  • Strong expertise in commercial insurance, Medicaid, telehealth reimbursement, and multi-state payer environments.
  • Proven track record of improving RCM KPIs including denials, collections, clean claims, and A/R performance.
  • Experience building or scaling revenue cycle operations in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify root causes and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Clinical, and Operations teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems such as billing platforms, EHRs, and reporting/analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with executive-level exposure.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $110,000–$150,000 with bonus eligibility and equity participation.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible, async-friendly work culture.
  • Opportunity to have direct impact on financial performance and organizational scaling in a mission-driven healthcare company.
  • Collaborative cross-functional environment working closely with clinical, product, engineering, and finance teams.
  • Leadership role with high autonomy and ownership over revenue cycle strategy and execution.
  • Opportunity to build and scale a high-performing RCM organization from the ground up.
  • Inclusive, trust-based culture emphasizing autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
