Job Description
About Studyfetch
StudyFetch is a technology company building AI-native learning products: StudyFetch for students and Honen for workforce training. Together, they connect education with real-world readiness across every stage of learning.
Vice President, Marketing
Location: Beverly Hills, CA (On-Site) Team: Marketing
About the RoleWe're hiring a Vice President, Marketing to own the day-to-day leadership and performance of StudyFetch's marketing organization. This person operates as a right hand to the CMO and CEO, taking new growth initiatives from first idea through GTM execution with the team.
We build AI products, and we run marketing the same way. The person in this role works with AI at an expert level: they know how to build internal tools and automations when the team needs them, they prototype campaigns and workflows with AI before briefing the team, and they push every function they touch to operate the same way. This is an operator role with builder instincts, not a delegate-and-review role. You'll run our paid acquisition strategy hands-on, manage the marketing budget alongside the CMO, and deliver growth insights directly to the executive team. You're as comfortable in Mixpanel as you are in a creative review, and when you see a slow process, you know whether AI can fix it and how.
The ideal candidate has led and hired small-to-medium teams, thrives in fast-paced creative environments, and brings clarity, consistency, and momentum to a growing marketing function. You'll define the standards, build the processes, and lead the people who make StudyFetch a brand that students love and remember.
Key Responsibilities- Own the day-to-day operations, performance, and output of the marketing org
- Act as a right hand to the CMO and CEO on new growth initiatives, owning them from strategy through GTM execution with the team
- Set the standard for AI-native marketing across the team: guide how AI is used in daily work, build internal tools, automations, and prototypes when needed, and train the team to work the same way
- Own paid acquisition strategy end to end across TikTok, Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Google, and emerging platforms, including planning, execution, and optimization
- Use AI across the paid and content workflow, from creative testing and iteration to campaign analysis and reporting
- Drive content and creator marketing built for how students actually consume, evolving StudyFetch's creator program for authenticity, reach, and ROI
- Manage the marketing budget in partnership with the CMO, reallocating spend based on performance and strategy sessions
- Build systems and processes that enable fast, consistent, and high-quality execution across campaigns
- Deliver growth insights and performance reporting to the executive team, including the COO
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Data teams, with fluency in Mixpanel events and how marketing decisions show up in product behavior
- Build, lead, and scale a multidisciplinary team spanning brand, creator, performance, and comms, including org design and hiring for key roles as the function grows
- Collaborate with Product and Creator teams to align launches, messaging, and integrated campaigns
- Establish clear goals, timelines, and success metrics so the marketing function scales efficiently
- 6-10 years of total marketing experience, including 4+ years of leadership experience. You've built marketing teams, not just inherited them: defining roles, hiring, and developing people as the function scaled
- AI-native by habit, not by mandate. You work with AI daily at a near-expert level, you know how to build automations and internal tools when something needs to exist (vibe coding counts), and manual processes that a tool could handle make you impatient
- A proven track record of driving accelerative growth, ideally taking a small company through rapid scale
- Deep, hands-on paid media expertise across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and influencer-driven ecosystems. You have personally run campaigns, not just managed people who did
- Strong content and creator marketing instincts, with experience building or scaling creator programs
- Fluent in how Gen Z discovers and shares. You know what reads as native versus corporate on TikTok and Instagram, and you've marketed to a young audience before
- Technical fluency: comfortable in product analytics tools like Mixpanel, and capable of shipping a working prototype with modern AI tooling when the situation calls for it
- Experience owning or co-owning a marketing budget and making reallocation decisions based on data
- A systems builder who creates workflows and repeatable processes that scale team efficiency
- Comfortable switching between hands-on execution and strategic leadership as needed
- Confident leading cross-functional collaboration across product, creator, content, and data functions
- Based in Los Angeles and excited to build in-office with a collaborative, fast-moving team
- $160,000 - $200,000
- Equity
- 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- 75% dependent coverage
- 401(k) with employer matching
- Daily team dinner provided in-office
- A high-growth, mission-driven team focused on transforming how students learn
