Erie Industrial Products is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio.

What You’ll Do

- Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
- Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate machine setups.
- Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds as needed.
- Work with X, Y, and Z axes, along with 4th- and 5th-axis machining.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve problems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while meeting quality and production goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes and an understanding of 4th- and 5th-axis CNC machining.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of G & M Codes and CNC program editing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
