Job Description
Nielson Construction is looking for a detail oriented and hard-working individual to join the Prefabricated Walls team! The Prefabricated Wall Technician will assemble wall panel components for the construction operations. This technician will follow the instructions of the blueprints and work using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment. This position reports to the Prefabricated Wall Foreman.

Job Responsibilities
- Follow detailed instructions and guided directions
- Assemble wall panel components
- Haul finished structures to assigned job sites
- Operate commercial equipment and vehicles as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate timecards and job paperwork
- Experience in framing or carpentry preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of use and the ability to maintain and operate power tools, hand tools, mechanical, building, carpentry, and lift equipment
- Read and understand construction plans as well as tape measure readings
This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion. Must be able to exert up to one hundred pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to fifty pounds of force frequently.
