1st Shift Production Loader + $1,000 Bonus! in Boscobel, Wisconsin at Truvant

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To inspect, package and palletize products to Truvant and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products
• Understand palletization of each product
• Identify defects in packages/pouches
• Monitor weights and case counts
• Assemble cases either manually or automatically using case making machine
• Operate a pallet jack
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• One year of hands-on experience in manufacturing preferred but not required
• On the job training provided

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job
• Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
• Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
• Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
• Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
• Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
• Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
• Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 50 pounds
