We are seeking a Site Accountant to complete the financial operations of our Allied Fence locations. This role is on-site 100%. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, strong site accounting experience, and a collaborative mindset. The Site Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational support, while also contributing to an upcoming ERP implementation project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Complete day-to-day financial operations, maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of 2 accounting clerks, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain division budgets and forecasts and provide insightful variance analysis to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Managers to support project budgeting and cost tracking.
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, working with internal and external auditors.
- Participate in the ERP system implementation project, ensuring it aligns with financial processes and provides accurate data for decision-making.
- Take on special projects and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
- Complete weekly payroll and 401k reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
