Are you a detail oriented and highly organized Sr. Payroll Manager that is looking to work in a supportive and growing company? Come join the team at Unifi Healthcare in Augusta GA! This position reports to our company’s Controller and will play a crucial role in managing and executing all payroll functions.
Responsibilities
· Process payroll for 900+ employees across both bi-weekly and weekly schedules
· Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
· Ensure the integrity of employee payroll records such as taxes withheld and deducts (401(k), benefits, etc)
· Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate and timely input of employee data into payroll system
· Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
· Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
· Manage and train payroll team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
· Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information
· Develop and implement effective payroll policies and procedures
· Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
· Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
· Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
· Other projects assigned by CFO and Controller
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study (accounting, finance, health care, human resources, etc.)
· 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
· 3+ years of leadership experience
· Must sit in Augusta GA office
· Proven success in processing efficiency
· Knowledge of Rippling payroll software preferred
· Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly growing environment
· Strong knowledge of payroll and payroll tax principles, regulations and procedures
· Staying current on industry trends, standards, and practices
