The team at RTA is looking for a Software Trainer to help fleet professionals become confident, capable super users of our fleet management software. This role blends facilitation, coaching, technology, and customer success into one highly impactful position. • Thinks of themselves less, while not thinking less of themselves. They are other-centric and compassionate.
  • Is willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done.
  • Loves to read, learn, grow, and stretch themselves. Bonus points for each book you’ve read by Patrick Lencioni.
  • Is constantly looking for more: more to learn, more to do, and more opportunity.
  • Has fleet management or automotive industry experience and understands the real-world challenges fleet teams face.

Specifically for this job, someone who:

  • Has spent time in or around the fleet industry and genuinely “speaks fleet”
  • Can confidently teach software to audiences with varying levels of technical ability
  • Builds trust quickly and creates engaging learning environments
  • Enjoys presenting, facilitating workshops, and helping others succeed
  • Has experience with software training, instructional design, onboarding, or customer education
  • Can design and improve training materials, documentation, videos, and knowledge base content
  • Is comfortable leading both virtual and onsite training sessions
  • Understands adult learning principles and how to adapt teaching styles for different learners
  • Can identify opportunities to improve customer workflows and software adoption
  • Is highly organized and capable of managing multiple training schedules and priorities
  • Is comfortable traveling up to 50–60% of the time to support client training initiatives
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
