Position Overview

Centerline Technical Services is seeking an Oklahoma Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead and support the development of our surveying service line while serving in a dual role as Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and Project Manager.

This position is ideal for someone who not only excels technically but is also interested in helping build and shape a growing service offering. You will play a key role in establishing workflows, supporting existing client relationships, and expanding our presence across the utilities and land development sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and manage survey projects across the utilities and land development sectors
• Help develop and refine internal workflows, standards, and processes for surveying services
• Coordinate field crews, CAD/GIS teams, and subcontractors
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Ensure deliverables meet client and regulatory standards

Surveying & Technical Oversight

• Provide professional oversight, sealing, and signing of survey deliverables
• Review plats, alignment sheets, as-builts, and survey data
• Support construction staking and development-related survey needs
• Maintain quality control and compliance with Oklahoma standards

Client Management & Business Development

• Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients
• Support the rollout and growth of Centerline’s surveying capabilities
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships
• Identify new opportunities across the utilities and land development sectors
• Assist with proposals, estimates, and strategic pursuits

Qualifications

Required

• Oklahoma Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
• 5+ years of experience in land surveying
• Experience in the utilities and/or land development industry
• Strong understanding of survey deliverables (plats, alignment sheets, as-builts, etc.)
• Proven project management experience
• Experience using Trimble survey equipment (GPS, total stations, data collectors)

Preferred

• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (C3D)
• Multiple state licensure
• Existing relationships within the utilities and/or land development sectors
• Business development or client management experience
• Familiarity with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, AGOL)
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams
