The core responsibilities of this role include preparing correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Provide product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution. Resolve product or service problems, clarify the customer’s complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution. Perform additional duties as assigned by Management. This role requires close collaboration with Operations in a fast?paced environment.

Position: First (1st) Shift Customer Service Rep

Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm, Tu-Fr

Base Pay: $21.00

Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly performance and attendance incentive bonuses!

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: A minimum of 6 month’s experience. Possess good written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and organization skills. Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules. Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions. Ability to operate basic documents and spreadsheet software. Understand and utilize systems to monitor and move workload. Track record of good attendance. Must be able to provide detailed communication both verbally and written in English. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Role Purpose:

Process orders and prepare correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Responsible for providing product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer's complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain customer records and update account information.
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Assist with order and product management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-12 months of system, data entry or reporting experience
  • 0-12 months of warehouse experience, preferred
