- Lead statistical strategy and execution for complex clinical studies and projects across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Provide expert statistical guidance to cross-functional teams involved in clinical development, medical affairs, and reimbursement initiatives.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical studies, ensuring methodological rigor and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development of study protocols, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), regulatory submissions, publications, and strategic documentation.
- Guide and support study statisticians while ensuring quality standards, consistency, and efficient project execution.
- Conduct exploratory analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations for clinical and business stakeholders.
- Anticipate and address resource, quality, or timeline risks that may impact study outcomes.
- Stay current on evolving statistical methodologies, innovative trial designs, and regulatory expectations within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to strengthen statistical practices and collaboration across teams.
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline with significant statistical content, combined with relevant industry experience.
- Strong experience in biostatistics within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments.
- Proven expertise in clinical trial design, statistical analysis, and regulatory submissions across the drug development lifecycle.
- Experience supporting cardiovascular or general medicine therapeutic programs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of theoretical and applied statistics as well as global regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing complex projects and balancing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across international and multidisciplinary teams.
