THE POSITION
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Quality Peer Review Nurse Coordinator. This position collects internal and required regulatory related quality data (i.e., Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission (TJC) quality measures) to support ongoing, evidence-based quality and performance improvement initiatives. Facilitates the Medical Staff peer review program, including ongoing professional practice (OPPE) in collaboration with Medical Staff Services. Provides feedback and coaching to providers and teammates to improve care and patient outcomes as well as meet quality metrics. Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of NC. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years acute care clinical experience preferred. Experience abstracting core measures and chart review. Familiarity with billing and documentation practices a plus
