Medical-Surgical Monitor Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical-Surgical Monitor Technician to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using electronic monitoring equipment

- Observe and interpret data to identify any abnormal or critical changes in patient conditions

- Document patient information accurately and promptly in electronic health records

- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare providers regarding patient status

- Assist in responding to emergency situations by alerting appropriate personnel

- Maintain the functionality and cleanliness of monitoring equipment

- Follow hospital policies and procedures related to patient safety and confidentiality

Skills and Qualifications:

- Monitor Technician Certification

- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous

- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and vital signs interpretation

- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in high-pressure situations

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems
