Opportunity: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, On-site/ In-Field
Salary: $32 - $38 per hour (commensurate on experience/qualifications)
Up to a $3,600 signing bonus may be available based on experience and qualifications. Details will be shared during the offer process.

What we are looking for:
M-B is currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician to be based in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and experience in the electrical field.
This site is not accessible via public transportation; reliable transportation will be a requirement
How you’ll make an impact at M-B as a Journeyman Electrician:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Test electrical systems and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations.
- Conduit installation & bending (RMC, EMT, Aluminum, PVC).
- Raceway systems & cable tray routing.
- Precision conduit bending (offsets, saddles, kicks).
- Electrical code compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
What it takes to be successful as a Journeyman Electrician:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Conditions of Employment:
- Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Check. Satisfactory driving records are required for driving company or personal vehicles and motor driven equipment to conduct company business.
- Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Safety impact employees will be subject to additional drug and alcohol testing throughout his/her employment.
- As part of its employment process, M-B may procure or have prepared a criminal background check. An applicant with an unsatisfactory criminal background check report is ineligible to be hired for the position for which the report is initiated.
