This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Binance Accelerator Program - Risk Operations Specialist (SQL) based in India.

We are looking for an early-career professional to join a fast-paced risk operations environment within the digital asset industry.
This opportunity provides hands-on experience analyzing account activity, monitoring risk indicators, and supporting fraud prevention initiatives.
You will work with data-driven processes, investigate suspicious behaviors, and contribute to protecting users and maintaining platform integrity.

Accountabilities:

The Risk Operations Specialist will support operational monitoring, investigation, and reporting activities to help identify and mitigate account risks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support reporting activities and monitor key metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across products and operational areas.
  • Review assigned account cases to assess account legitimacy, user identity, risk levels, and determine appropriate restriction or dismissal actions.
  • Investigate account activity to identify abnormal patterns and potential suspicious transactions.
  • Monitor risk cases and reports to detect trends, escalating relevant insights to management teams.
  • Contact account holders when necessary to verify activity and reduce potential losses.
  • Support ongoing improvements to risk monitoring processes and operational workflows.
  • Manage multiple queues and tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use data analysis and operational tools to support risk decisions and investigations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a motivated student or recent graduate with strong analytical skills and an interest in risk operations, data, and emerging technologies. Required qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make informed decisions based on research and available data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work across different queues, and maintain a strong sense of ownership.
  • Interest in risk management, fraud prevention, digital assets, or financial technology.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools and technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow operational procedures.
  • Experience in a Risk Operations role is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with SQL, Datawind, data analysis, or database tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in cryptography or blockchain technology is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global remote environment.
