Job Description
SUMMARY: The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. This may include patient care assessment, patient care planning and implementation, and working on patient care quality improvement. This position works in collaboration with the Program Director and the Medical Director to meet the Center’s program objectives and help ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction. All clinicians must perform their job responsibilities according to all Hospital policies, Healogics policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.

Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Current RN (Registered Nurse) license – to maintain throughout the duration of employment in the position
Experience: Minimum of 2 or more years nursing experience as an RN required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Wound care certification/experience preferred.
License: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing.
Certifications: Must maintain current BLS certification.
Other: Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Spend 8 hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift patients with assistance 125 pounds or more multiple times per shift. Must be able to push in excess of 150 pounds wheelchair with patient and equipment. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. May be subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards (including electrical currents and exposure to high heat and chemicals) and infectious diseases.
Work Environment
Office and Procedural setting, within a clinical environment. Occasional travel may be required for training and community outreach.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a clinic setting where staff work 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
