Pay: $20–$25 per hour + uncapped commissions and bonuses

Are you a motivated salesperson who enjoys winning new business, building relationships, and earning more for your results? Eric Collins Insurance Agency, Inc. is hiring Sales Producers to join our State Farm team serving the Tacoma, Lakewood, and South Sound communities.
Insurance experience is welcome, but proven sales ability matters more. We’re looking for competitive, coachable, results-driven people who know how to build relationships, earn trust, and close business. If you have a strong sales background, we can teach you the insurance side of the business.
What You Can Earn
  • $20–$25 per hour base pay, depending on experience, licensing, and sales ability
  • Uncapped commissions and production-based bonuses
  • Target annual earnings of $70,000–$80,000+
  • Potential to earn $90,000–$100,000+ annually with exceptional performance
Your total earnings will depend on your sales production and results.
What You'll Do
  • Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and lead generation
  • Contact prospective customers, build relationships, and follow up on leads
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage
  • Sell Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Business, Life, and Health insurance products
  • Develop new customer relationships and expand existing accounts
  • Overcome objections, ask for the sale, and work toward production goals
  • Identify opportunities to meet customers' broader insurance and financial-services needs

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a personable, competitive, and coachable sales professional who enjoys working toward goals and closing business.
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Sales, business development, prospecting, or lead-conversion experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the sale
  • Persistence when handling objections and rejection
  • Effective follow-up and time-management skills
  • A willingness to learn insurance products and obtain the appropriate Washington insurance licenses
Your sales background doesn't have to be in insurance!
We welcome candidates with experience in:
  • Automotive sales
  • Banking, lending, or mortgage sales
  • Wireless and telecommunications sales
  • Home improvement or other in-home sales
  • Membership sales
  • Recruiting and staffing
  • Business-to-business sales
  • Other commission-based or quota-driven sales environments
Previous insurance experience and an active insurance license are preferred, but neither is required at hire. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain the appropriate Washington insurance licenses.
