Description: Apprentice Plumber (Service/Install)

Marlborough, MA HVAC Department

Description

Plumber Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.
  • Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
  • Train and perform HVAC preventative maintenance, site surveys, modifications, and repairs to HVAC equipment

Requirements: RequirementsCandidates must have EPA certifications

Endless Energy, a growing energy efficiency company, established for almost 40 years, is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Plumber to assist with installation and service operations as needed. Must be driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented to work in this exciting, fast-paced environment. Candidate must be located within a reasonable distance of Marlborough, MA.Desired Candidate Background

  • Apprentice Plumber license - Tier I or Tier II
  • High School or GED equivalent preferred; EAP Certification required
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean driver record
  • Must be able to undergo a background check
  • Must be able to speak fluent English. Additional languages are a plus!
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly and able to learn and follow proper lifting, pushing, pulling and moving techniques where safety is a priority
  • Must be able to be on your feet 6-8 hours per day

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time position with overtime potential (regular hours will be 7:00am-4pm)
