Job Description

Principal Time & Attendance Solutions Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Time & Attendance Solutions Consultant based in United States.

As a Principal Time & Attendance Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a hands-on technical expert across both pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements.
You will help customers and partners successfully adopt and configure a workforce management technology platform to meet complex operational requirements.
The role combines discovery, solution configuration, product demonstrations, training, implementation guidance, and live production troubleshooting.
You will work closely with direct customers and partners, translating business needs into practical technical solutions and ensuring deployments remain healthy after launch.
Success in this role requires deep workforce management knowledge, strong technical problem-solving abilities, and a highly customer-focused mindset.
You will operate independently in a remote environment while becoming a trusted product expert and a key contributor to the customer experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Become a deep functional and technical expert on the workforce management platform, developing the knowledge required to advise customers and partners confidently across implementation and ongoing use.
  • Demonstrate the platform to prospective and existing customers and partners, clearly communicating its capabilities and how it can address workforce management requirements.
  • Deliver product training and enablement sessions that help customers and partners understand the platform and configure it effectively.
  • Lead discovery calls and project meetings with direct customers, gathering business and technical requirements, providing recommendations, and configuring the platform to meet their specific needs.
  • Support partners by advising them on appropriate platform configuration and helping ensure solutions align with their customers’ operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical post-sales issues affecting live customer deployments, working directly with customers and partners to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Act as a trusted technical and product resource throughout the customer lifecycle, balancing business requirements, platform capabilities, usability, and successful adoption.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with time tracking, payroll, workforce management, or related enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer support, implementation, technical consulting, or similar environment where hands-on problem solving and customer interaction are central to the role.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand customer needs, communicate clearly, and build trusted relationships with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of complex problems, and use sound judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness to develop solutions.
  • Experience with IT and business interaction tools and the ability to operate effectively across technical and business-facing environments.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, UKG Pro, UKG Ready, isolved, SAP SuccessFactors, or Employment Hero is strongly preferred.
  • Experience configuring iOS devices and working with mobile device management platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of API technologies such as REST, webhooks, XML, and JSON is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CCPA and applicable privacy laws is an advantage.
Benefits
  • Base salary of $180,000–$210,000 USD.
  • Fully remote, work-from-home position.
  • US-Pacific time-zone work model, supporting collaboration within a US-PST schedule.
  • Opportunity to work across both pre-sales and post-sales environments with direct customers and technology partners.
  • High-impact position with significant ownership over customer implementations, platform adoption, and live deployment success.
  • Opportunity to develop deep expertise in workforce management technology while working on complex customer requirements and technical challenges.
  • Equal opportunity and non-discrimination commitment, with employment decisions based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
