Job Description
Summary/objective
The Yard torcher is responsible for dismantling vehicles and other equipment to extract nonferrous metals.
Essential functions

•Extract catalytic converters along with other non-ferrous materials
•Ensure all materials are properly segregated
•Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
•Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
•Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
•Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required education and experience
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•1+ years experience using a cutting torch and other hand tools to dismantle vehicle and equipment
