This role sits within a global cybersecurity-driven environment where the ServiceNow platform plays a critical role in enabling IT operations, automation, and service delivery at scale. You will be responsible for administering, configuring, and continuously improving the ServiceNow ecosystem to ensure optimal performance, security, and usability across the organization. The position blends platform administration, incident management, and light development work, offering exposure to both operational support and enhancement projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and developers to implement new features, integrations, and workflows that improve service efficiency. The environment is fast-paced and highly technical, requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform to ensure alignment with IT best practices, operational standards, and business needs across the organization.
- Manage platform configuration including UI elements, workflows, forms, lists, plugins, and mobile interfaces.
- Handle platform upgrades, patching, cloning, and update set migrations to maintain system stability and continuity.
- Support incident resolution, troubleshooting, and escalation for ServiceNow platform issues.
- Manage users, groups, roles, access controls, and security configurations across the platform.
- Develop and maintain service catalog items, workflows, notifications, and self-service portal components.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics aligned with ITSM and business KPIs.
- Perform development tasks including business rules, client scripts, automation workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on enhancements, integrations, and platform improvements.
- Monitor platform health and proactively recommend improvements for performance and reliability.
- Support CMDB, data imports, and configuration management processes.
- Participate in on-call support and ensure timely resolution of critical platform incidents.
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development within enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL framework principles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Asset Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (business rules, client scripts, workflows).
- Experience with platform integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and other data exchange methods.
- Strong knowledge of user management, role-based access control, LDAP, and SSO implementations.
- Experience managing upgrades, update sets, and platform migrations.
- Familiarity with CMDB structure, data governance, and configuration best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and incident resolution skills in production environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional technical teams.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Bonus: experience with automation, Employee Center, Virtual Agent, GRC, or ITOM modules.
