About the Role:

As the Store Manager at Traveler's Oasis, you will be the driving force behind the successful operation and growth of the retail location. Your primary objective is to ensure an exceptional customer experience by leading a motivated team, managing inventory effectively, and maintaining high standards of store presentation. You will oversee daily store activities, including sales performance, staff scheduling, and compliance with company policies and procedures. By analyzing sales data and customer feedback, you will implement strategies to maximize profitability and enhance customer satisfaction. Ultimately, your leadership will contribute to establishing Traveler's Oasis as a preferred destination for travelers seeking quality products and outstanding service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing inventory and store operations.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a store in the travel retail or convenience store industry.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics and inventory management software.
  • Certification in retail management or customer service training.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
  • Develop and execute merchandising plans to optimize product placement and store appearance.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and foster positive relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and evaluate team members to build a skilled and cohesive workforce.
