MAY Management is seeking an experienced, licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) to oversee the daily operations of an assigned homeowners' or condominium association in the beautiful St. Augustine area. This is an onsite position for a motivated professional who thrives on building strong relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering outstanding operational support to community associations. Primary Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Association's Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and business partners.
- Attend and facilitate Board and Annual Meetings, preparing agendas, management reports, and meeting minutes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Board members while providing professional guidance and support.
- Coordinate vendor services, monitor contract performance, and oversee community projects.
- Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance concerns and ensure community standards are maintained.
- Respond promptly to homeowner and Board inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare weekly management updates and communicate the status of ongoing projects and community initiatives.
- Assist with annual budget preparation alongside the accounting team and monitor association financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with governing documents, Florida Statutes, and Association policies.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and work closely with onsite staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License is required.
- Previous experience managing homeowner or condominium associations.
- Strong knowledge of Florida Chapters 718 and 720.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience reading and interpreting financial statements and budgets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Confidence working directly with Board members and homeowners in a fast-paced environment.
